Having personally experienced the powerful healing that mind/body awareness allows, I bring passionate enthusiasm to the art and science of body-centered psychotherapy, effective deep tissue massage, and the profoundly transformative power of compassionate attention. With over 11 years of experience in body-centered therapy, my work often bridges a gap between conventional, mainstream allopathic care and alternative therapy, honoring the best of both worlds to promote deep healing of body, mind, and spirit.
I welcome clients seeking bodywork to address soft tissue injuries or discomfort, as well as those who have seen the benefits of massage therapy for stress management. In addition, I work with individuals seeking more in-depth therapy to resolve trauma (old or recent) of any kind which limits or interferes with optimal functioning. My own personal journey through chronic physical ailments and traumatic experiences, combined with ongoing professional training and education in mind/body therapy allow me to offer effective, compassionate attention, expertise, and understanding to others seeking relief from physical, emotional, and mental pain.
